From an early age, I became a seeker of healing-- navigating childhood with journaling and music; teen years with movement and theater.

When it was "time" for college, I'm proud to this day of realizing that the traditional path wasn't for me. I enrolled in culinary school and learned how to feed myself and others, something I still do every single day. I went on to study yoga and teach children and adults alike in nourishing their bodies in a different way. I eventually did attend college and flourished, something I just wasn't ready for ten years earlier.

Degrees and certifications later, I know nothing is more valuable and qualifying than my own lived experiences, academic or otherwise. From the moment we are born, we accumulate this expertise that, unfortunately, often gets forgotten or disregarded.  This is where health coaching gets it exactly right, connecting back to an invaluable resource and harnessing it into change.
